Santorini and Mykonos

Today(wed) our first stop was santorini it was really pretty. The island used to be bigger but a volcano erupted a long time ago so the land sank/blew up and it's kinda a circle with the volcano in the middle surrounded by water and then mostly surrounded by what's left of the island. We took a donkey ride up the mountain. That was such an interesting ride!! It's really steep stairs that zig zag but the donkey kept going by the wall and i was scared i was going to fall off and it kept stopping so it took a while. When we got to the top, we found a travel place and rented a car and a driver guy for two hours. He was really nice and took us to some of the villages on the island to take pictures. We stopped in Oia and did a little wine tasting. The grapes that grow on the island don't get rain so the roots gather humidity and they grow in a spiral. It was really different wine. The red was really sweet and the white was dry. I wish I could bring some back! There was a dog that looked like Kirby so of course I took a pic! I miss my little one already!! We did some shopping and then took the cable cars down. It was so scary! I really don't understand why Europeans think we are so rude, people were trying to get off the tender or the cable cars or the elevators and they would hardly let them before trying to get on themselves.

Mykonos was probably the prettiest place we have been so far. There wasn't much to do besides eat and party. So we went and found some food and some very interesting drinks. They have some really good liquor over here!
