Positano

Today was such a lazy day and so very nice! I woke up sort up late (even tho people in my room woke up at 4 and 7) and caught a tram to the bus station. While waiting for a tram a family was wondering what they needed to do and how to get out to Pompeii. It was so weird being the one that knew where they were going! They train from Naples to sorrento stops at Pompeii so I had them just follow me. I didn't have breakfast at the hostel bc really the only thing I could eat was like toast. So i got to sorrento and found a sandwich bigger than my head! The really weird part, it was fried chicken breast ham and cheese. Surprisingly it was pretty good. I had to take a bus from sorrento to positano and if you looked out the side you were looking off a cliff! There were some women from London on the bus. They take a trip every yr and this yr they are staying at ravello. Anyways made it to the hostel, checked in and then went to the beach. Positano is basically built into cliffs so I had to climb down what felt like 100 steps. The beach wasn't sand but big rocks and stones. So I had to wear my toms which is good, they needed a bath. The water is so clear but it also has trash in it. Not a lot but it was floating on top and kinda gross. But you move it away and the water is gorgeous! Tomorrow I am going to Capri and will see the blue grotto so I'm thrilled for that! The climb back up felt like 1000 steps. I thought I was in like decent shape. Nope. Not one tiny bit, I thought I was going to die before I made it back up! So here I am watching the sun set and drinking wine! It's a good day to be me! I got to talk to bubba and my sister in law so that was really nice!
