Florence 6/13

Today was a bit of a disaster. I really think it started last night when like three people were snoring in my room and this girl walks in takes her stuff upstairs but doesn't bother closing the door. She left the door wide open twice and my bed is right by the door so the second time I got up and slammed it shut. Thank god this hostel has ear plugs like the ones we use when we shoot or I wouldn't have slept. Of course I wasn't the first in line at the museum today but who was I kidding?we all knew I wasn't gonna be anyways. I got to see Michelangelos statue of David and it was pretty cool. Apparently his head is really large bc he was meant to be on a building and the perspective would have made it look normal. I managed to get a pic before a worker guy told me it was not allowed. I left after walking around for a little bit, I saw some art from Picasso and Andy worhol so that was nifty. I went and found Dante's house that he lived in and I just downloaded the divine comedy bc I realized I've never read it. It was really cool because on one of the walls they had the whole comedy in tiny words. They also had early edition book copies of it as well. And they had like color pictures of the different layers of heaven and hell. For lunch I had a giant ice cream cone with Mint chocolate chip and some other flavor but I couldn't understand when the lady was telling me. The gelato places have just enormoua amount of gelato its so crazy! I was walking towards the ponte vecchio (oldest bridge in Florence bc the others were bombed by Germany in the war but they decided to let this one live) when a creepy guy said that he had seen me by the duomo and now here and he gave me his number and told me to call him. I didn't mention that I didn't have a phone and heck no would I have called anyways! I had a nice stroll through Florence but then realized I had 2 hrs until I had to go to my tour thing, so I found wine. I like this place. They say are you eating also or just drinking. I tried to find my bus for my tour and couldn't find it but I found something for chianti that I kinda thought was mine. Nope. It didn't even go to chianti. Chianti country yes but that's like this whole area. There was some wine tasting and we saw a castle but I was kinda bummed. So now I don't get to see chianti and I think trying to go to murano with all my stuff will be too stressful so I'm just going to go to Milan. I think im just going to make a list of places I missed and need to revisit. Sistine chapel chianti and murano so far. I think trav gets an award for getting me out of my unhappy mood tonight. And I got to talk to mom and see my baby boy! His hair is growing back and he's getting lots of attention. At dinner tonight this guy was walking around with like 20 roses and he stopped at every table except mine. Hey I won't buy my own flower but I'd like the chance to say I'm not that pathetic lol I love all of the restaurant places the have some seating inside but they are mostly outdoor tables. There were three guys playing music in the street at one of the tables behind me. It was pretty to hear.

Oh super random. The trash cans that they have here, When the garbage trick picks them up there's like this whole hidden trash can in the ground. It's like an iceberg of a trash can because you only see the top and underneath there's more!
