Interlaken 6/7

Ahhhh I love this place. It's a lot like the place I stayed in Innsbruck so it's a huge tourist place with everything to do outside. We tried to go paragliding riht when we got here but it was gross and raining so they weren't going. We found a Mexican place and went shopping in the downtown area.

On the 7th, daddy and I got up bright and early and went canyoning! So amazingly fun but I thought I was going to have a heart attack the whole time! So basically they take you up a mountain and you get down by zip lining and sliding down watersides and jumping off huge rocks. It was awesome but I was not a fan of the parts where you get sucked under by like a waterfall or something and get thrown around for a second before coming up. Not a fan at all. There was this one jump that I'm still bummed I didn't go off of. We had three options, jump off, zip line down or sort of climb around it. Of course I wanted to jump so I got up there but it was so huh and you are jumping in between two boulders it was terrifying so I decided not to do it and we used the zip line instead. I really wished I had done it but maybe next time I go.

We went and found mom and had some lunch before going paragliding!!! I'm so in love with this that I'm going to look into getting my license and just jumping off of everything! Daddy loved it. The girl who I was tandem with was awesome. I got to drive again and then when she took back over we did all kinds of spins and flips!!! So awesome!!!!! Now we are on the train on the way to Bern!

I remember when I still lived in new bern and it was the 200th anniversary or something of the city I had a bunch of Swiss people come in my office bc they were from bern and new bern is named after it.

Have I mentioned rösti yet!? Holy cow I am in love!!! They are hash browns but with all kinds of Swiss cheese and bacon or ham or whatever you want! So delicious!!
